Venture off the beaten path for an authentic Israel-experience.

Imagine hiking up Masada as the sun rises over the mountains of Jordan, and floating at ease on the Dead Sea. See yourself crossing the Sea of Galilee on a first century style wooden boat, and then sleeping under the stars in the desert. Can you picture yourself rafting down the Jordan River, and getting your hands dirty while practically serving the people here? If humble accommodations, and adventure activities don’t intimidate you, then the Adventure Tour might be the tour for you!

Adventure Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive & transfer to Tel Aviv

Welcome to Israel! Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport and transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv. There will be several group shuttles from the airport to the hotel:

Please aim to arrive 45-60 minutes before each of these times in order to make the shuttle departure.

Tel Aviv is Israel’s largest coastal city and the second largest city in Israel. This young diverse city is well-known as the cultural, financial, and technical hub of the entire nation.

Day 2

Jezreel Valley & Central Coast

Begin your journey to the northern region of Israel by stopping at the ancient coastal city of Caesarea where Peter first presented the Gospel to the Gentiles. Kayak down the Jordan River, the famous river where the Israelites crossed into their Promised Land. Our final stop is where is all began, in Jesus’ hometown of Nazareth. Overnight in Tiberias.

Day 3

Galilee, Northern Boundary Region

Set sail on the Sea of Galilee where Jesus walked on water and calmed the storm. Gather on the Mount of Beatitudes where He delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Take a walk through the 2000 year old town of Capernaum and continue to the lush green mountainous region of the Golan Heights for an exciting ATV excursion! Overnight in Tiberias.

Day 4

Lower Jordan Valley River

Tour the ancient Roman ruins of Bet Shean as you learn little-known facts about its fortress and walled city. Swim in natural springs at Gan HaShlosha. Then continue south to the Jordan River baptismal site, Qasr Al-Yehud, where it is believed that John the Baptist immersed Jesus at the beginning of His ministry. Ride a camel to your overnight location in the Judean Desert and enjoy the stars as you camp out Bedouin-style!

Day 5

Judean Wilderness & The Dead Sea

Surround yourself in the breathtaking views of the Judean wilderness after you hike up the famous fortress, Masada. Journey into Ein Gedi, the rocky refuge where King David penned the Psalms. Conclude your day by relaxing in the mineral rich waters of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Overnight in Jerusalem.

6–9

Jerusalem & The Old City

Welcome to Jerusalem! While you are here, you will walk the golden streets of the Old City, leave your prayers at the holiest site in Judaism, the Western Wall, and tour through the City of David, where urban Jerusalem began.

Enjoy the panoramic view of the Holy City from the Mt. of Olives, visit the Garden of Gethsemane, and see where the stone was rolled away as you take part in communion at the Garden Tomb. Never forget! Pause to remember and learn from the past at the Yad VaShem Museum.
